PLASMA PRP
WHAT IS IT?
PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a derivative of blood that stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and epidermal tissue, resulting in smoother, brighter, and higher-quality skin.
The bio-stimulation with PRP is done in the clinic. After cleaning and preparing the treatment area, a numbing cream is applied and blood is drawn from the patient. Once the plasma is obtained, it is applied to the patient with multiple small injections using a very fine needle.
WHO ARE THE CANDIDATES?
The treatment is suitable for both men and women. It requires no prior preparation and people can immediately return to their social life after application. PRP improves wrinkles and rejuvenates the skin, providing brightness and improving texture.
From what age is it recommended to apply?
This medical treatment is recommended from the age of 28, when the skin begins to lose its ability to regenerate. It can be applied as a preventive treatment for young skin or as a restorative treatment for aged skin.
How many treatment sessions are indicated?
Typically, the proposal is for 3 applications spaced 15 or 21 days apart and to repeat again after 4 or 6 months. Maintenance should be done after a year.
When do the results appear?
Growth factors have to act by stimulating the tissue, therefore, there is no instant result. Effects appear over time and increase as time passes.
How long do the results last?
After completing the three sessions, results usually last between 6 to 12 months. The maintenance session that is recommended to repeat every year will help to prolong the results.
HOW IS IT PERFORMED?
This technique involves the extraction of plasma from the patient's own blood sample. The plasma is then injected into the desired area to achieve cellular regeneration of the tissues and combat the signs of aging. Thanks to PRP treatment, the skin regains its firmness and smoothness and expression lines on the face are reduced. The main advantages of this technique are its safety and effectiveness.
